Cloud Impression In Steel

Tangled arcs of weathered steel rods rise in a chaotic ballet, echoing the curving clouds above. This black and white composition captures the sculpture’s imposing mass, yet transforms it—if only momentarily—into something weightless and ethereal. The once rigid lattice of metal now seems to mimic the sky’s fluid geometry, inviting reflection on the poetic tension that can arise between man-made structure and the transience of nature. (Monumental sculpture “L-11,” 2000, by Adrian Maryniak, Poland. Captured in Brussels, Belgium, June 2024. Photo composite)
