This is the photograph of an architectural sculpture titled “Zuilenpaviljoen” (Pavilion of Columns, 1992) by Belgian architect and artist Charles Vandenhove. It is built with a series of limestone columns organized into a square grid pattern. I manipulated the picture to highlight the pavilion’s rigid geometry and sober minimalist construction. (Captured in August 2018 at the Middelheim Museum, Antwerp, Belgium. Artwork: December 2018)
