Facial Texture

This photograph captures the textured surface of a stone placed in the yard of an art school. It was used to airbrush cut-out shapes for art projects. The layers of paint and the passage of time have created a striking abstract composition of textures. The subtle profile of a face emerges from the textures and gives the scene a human touch, as if the stone holds a memory frozen in time.
As a viewer, you might feel a mix of curiosity and contemplation, drawn to the organic decay of the material that blends with the timelessness of the human form. (Original photograph with minimal manipulation. December 2024)
