Through a heavy night fog, a bright streetlight unveils the abstract silhouettes of tramway wires and a hanging traffic light, whose shadows stretch long into the cloudy mist. Due to the photograph’s long exposure, two signals appear illuminated—giving the impression of a moment suspended in time. The interplay of light and grainy texture lends the scene a dreamlike atmosphere and an ethereal stillness, where the ordinary is transformed into something poetic.
