Guardrails Illusion

Vertical guardrails rise in rhythmic succession, their shadows and repetitions echoing the textures of a modern facade. Captured from a carefully angled perspective, the image blurs distinctions between structure and surface—transforming balustrades into an optical field of lines and planes. Diagonal boundaries seem to carve an illusory space into the composition, making planes appear to fold or recede in ways that defy the actual structure—inviting the viewer to question what is solid, what is void, and where architecture ends and abstraction begins.
