In this artwork I attempt to illustrate how some people can feel their identity to be mixed-up. The tree rings are of course a metaphor for identity. This work is inspired by an outdoor art installation from Belgian sculptor Olivia Mortier. Titled “Identité” (Identity), it consists of a low table of 36 ceramic tiles printed with tree rings.
