A young woman who was living in Germany in the late nineteen-twenties radiates calm and reflection in the bronze portrait of her face. This is the head section of a statue by sculptor Georg Kolbe (1877–1947)—“Grote Zittende,” 1929, at the Middelheim Museum, Antwerp. Rendered with duotone colors and a texture blend for an antique feel similar to vintage photographs. (Duotone with texture blend. Photographed August 2018.)
