A tall glass tower frames a monumental stainless steel sculpture by Belgian artist Liliane Vertessen. Titled “Ciel et Terre” (Sky and Earth), it is the abstract representation of a paper plane landing over the edge of a high-heel shoe. The two motifs establish symbolically the link between sky and earth, a metaphor that is mimicked and reinforced in this photograph by the tower that reflects a cloudy sky.
