A large smiley face decorates the fuel dock at the Charles River Yacht Club. I suspect that the sign was actually placed there to hide the Gulf Oil brand. In the background is the frozen river and Boston skyline. (December 1986, along Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA. Photograph captured on 35mm Tri-X film.)
