The Mystique Gardens

While walking in the woods I photographed a tree log that was beginning to split apart. Its missing bark exposed a very beautiful sapwood with growing moss. After digital manipulation in Photoshop the resulted image looks to me like the aerial view of a fantasy world with a forest or fantastic garden surrounded by sand dunes in a desert. An artwork to add a feel of mystery to any interior decor. (July 2014).
