Detail from the “Crucible” outdoor sculpture, one of four abstract pieces that are part of a public art installation by George Sugarman called “Pittsburgh Variations.” Each piece is created out of multi-colored, welded aluminum. The limited and flat color palette combined with the simple geometric forms and shapes are perfect for a contemporary or modern decor with an industrial or urban look.
