This photograph was taken in December 1984, about one year after mural artist Joshua Winer transformed the theatre’s brick wall facade into a trompe l’oeil mural with a Beaux Arts style. In this scene, I love how the painted ticket window and buyer integrate naturally with the real bikes, walking woman, and cinema marquee. (Cambridge, MA, December 1984. Photograph captured on 35mm Tri-X film.)
