During a long stopover at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, I was exploring how to best compose an abstract photograph when the huge empennage of a taxiing aircraft from American Airlines entered the frame and totally changed my original intention! (Vintage McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10. Photograph captured on Kodak Ektachrome film, December 1983.)
