As I was watching a group of boys and girls wearing face paint and costumed for a performance at a town festival, I noticed this young trumpet player—costumed as an harlequin—who was reacting with a smirk to the whispers from his sister. (Captured on 35mm Tri-X film, Brussels, 1980.)
