Fish In The Sky

Above the parking lot of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, three monumental statues of basses twirl with the wind. Designed by Elizabeth and Chris Siefert, this public art installation is titled “Al, Mo & Oh: The Three That Got Away,” for the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers that converge in Pittsburgh. They were fun to watch that day—but not easy to capture—as the wind was strong and always changing direction. (Pittsburgh, November 2013)
